When we flew to Maui from Sacramento a few years back Hawaiian Airlines didn’t offer a non-stop flight like they have now. We landed in Honolulu and had to find our way through the terminal that was a complete mess with all the construction that was going on. We worked our way through plywood corridors, following the crowd that didn’t know where they were going either, until we finally made it to the real terminal. After about an hour wait we boarded our little jet to head over to Maui. It was a long less than 30-minute flight from gat to gate. My kind of flight. As we neared Maui I, like the good tourist I am, started snapping pictures for memories. We saw the line of wind turbines of the Kaheawa Wind Power Farm running in a line up the West Maui Mountains and shortly after we were circling in for our landing, we flew over the farm fields and then saw Norwegian Cruise Lines’ Pride of America cruise ship at the port in Kahului. It was a fun and fast flight.
We could see the cruise ship Pride of America at the port as we landed
