Magnificent hotel with an amazing history including one of the meetings between Roosevelt and Churchill to plan the Normandy invasion being held here. We were upgraded to a 2 queen room which was quite large and quiet. Beds very comfortable. T oiletries were good quality and smelled lovely. Enjoyed the fitness center and pool including time outside on the deck relaxing in the lounge chairs. The staff and service were high class, helpful and excellent. While you're there visit one of their great restaurants. The 1608 is good for their fine wines as well as the meat and cheese platter and their flatbread was yummy. I highly recommend a room with a city view and the St. Lawrence river.
