Escapade in the Moroccan High Atlas: the Ourika Valley

Sti Fadma, Marrakesh-Safi, Morocco

Setti-Fatma is at 1,400 meters above sea level. The village, easily accessible from Marrakech (about 70 kilometers from the city) is the first step for more or less difficult hikes or treks of several days. It is also the starting point for the walk of the 7 waterfalls. I say walk but in reality it's more a climbing route: slippery trails, rocks of several meters, ladder placed against a wall ... I do not know if in France such a course would be allowed for the conditions of safety. The little ibex that I am could only go to the second waterfall (which is located at 1800 meters above sea level). The view is just the surrounding mountains (which exceed 3,000 meters) is just * wow *. No word needed!
