Tired of the same old water park with slides and lazy rivers? Then you should check out the Dutch Springs Aqua Park in Bethlehem, PA. Dutch Springs is an old quarry that is now filled with water. It originally served as a scuba diving location, with submerged features like helicopters, airplanes, a bus, etc. (and it still serves this purpose today). But now, they have added the Aqua Park, and it's fun for the whole family. The kids can spend hours on the huge inflatable obstacles. There are giant slides, icebergs to climb, trampolines, and two obstacle courses. Not feeling up to climbing and jumping off stuff? No problem, it's wonderful to just float in the water and watch everyone else. Lifejackets are required, but they have them available for you, or you can bring your own. There's a food stand, or you can bring your own picnic lunch. There are some lawn chairs/recliners along the entry to the water, but I'd recommend bringing your own chairs in case you need to sit up higher on the lawn. It definitely can get crowded. Bringing a portable canopy is also a great idea so you can be sure to have shade. This is a great place for a group to hang out and enjoy a beautiful day!
