One of the noticeablly beautiful building except the castles themselves in this De Haar Castle complex is its church. The church is located right next to the castle across a creek and connected by a small bridge. The entire church and castle are surrounded by moat. From the exterior look, it seems like the church was built with almost same material used for building castles, namely red brick. There is a spiky tall steeple which in a view from the distance nicely blended with spiky towers of the castle itself. When we visited, the church door was closed for some reasons. Maybe it is not open to public. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed walking around the church and castle.
