Easily reachable by train from Stockholm, Berlin, and likely many other cities, Copenhagen sits across the bridge from Malmo, Sweden.
Copenhagen has a number of cultural attractions including castle or palaces and museums. The Amalienborg Castle hosts the guard changing daily which happens without musical accompaniment, unlike occasionally at Stockholm. The soldiers walk around and individually replace guards at their posts. The uniforms are quaint with very tall, what appear to be, bearskin hats. Other great places to see are the Ny Carlsberg Glypotech and the Thorvaldsen Museum. Both have excellent sculpture in a classical Greek sense. There is also the small Rosenborg Slot (castle) with some finely kept gardens.
