While Jamestown shows amazing array of early establishment of the English Colony of Virginia, Williamsburg shows rather much developed brilliance of the colonial community. Colonial Williamsburg is the area near the Governor's Palace where it is used as a living history museum. The entire area preserves buildings and houses from the 18th century or even from the 17th century. As a living history museum, there are people wearing 18th century costume and show how they lived back in time. Interesting thing is they speak dialects used in the colonial period. While it is thoroughly enjoyable to walk around and travel back in time, it looks fun to participate some of the activities.
