As part of the Chichen Itza day trip I booked there was a colonial city tour. We stopped and had lunch in Vallodoid, near Chichen Itza. To be honest, there wasn't much of a tour, but we had about 45 minutes after lunch before we had to get on the bus. It wasn't much time, but I really loved this town. It was very cute, and the colors were incredible. I had a nice time sitting in the main square, and walking through the archway covered sidewalks. You can also choose a Cenotes swimming hole as part of a tour, but I liked this.
