One of the primary things to do in Rouen is to visit the Rue du Gros Horlage and to visit the museum about this famous clock. The museum is very interesting and we learned that the clock was one of the longest continuously running clocks in the entire world. We also got to see the awesome apartment (though small) that the timekeeper lived in that arched over the street. I especially liked how we got a much more close-up view of the clock and learned some of the things the symbols stood for. It is a very decadent clock. The best part though was that at the top of the building we had a great view of Rouen and the cathedral.
