Suzdal is a very beautiful place. It is a small town with a slowly flowing stream meandering through colorful wooden houses and many, many religous buidings. It is very possible to walk from one end of town to the other but we opted to also paddleboat on the stream and rent a bike for a day. We saw many cathedrals and monasteries that have been beautifully restored, but we also saw many that are abandoned, though they still make an interesting addition to the landscape. The best thing about Suzdal is that they don't steal purses left at bus stations.
This hostel has nice Ikea furniture and a great location in the middle of town and next to the river.
