The Chihuly Garden and Glass is one of the areas in the Seattle Center Park. It offered beautiful views of glass. This attraction has several components. You enter Chihuly's indoor galleries which starts with his collection of Native American basketry (which inspired some of his early glass), a portrait gallery, and his collection of Pendleton blankets. You move through very large installations of indoor glass gardens which are set up on mirrored surfaces to further enhance his work. Stop to admire the individual pieces on pedestals throughout these rooms. Finish your tour with a stroll through the outdoor gardens, notable for the color-themed plots where the flowers mirror the colors of the glass works installed there. A beautiful gallery to visit.
