During a recent trip to Chicago, my wife and I took advantage of all of the really good foods that the city has to offer. We ate donuts from a couple of places, Chicago deep dish pizza, Italian hot beef, and Chicago style hot dogs (no ketchup allowed), and Mexican food, among other things. If you consider yourself a foodie at all, Chicago is one of the best places to visit. There is such a wealth of food variety thanks to the city's role as a landing place for many immigrants. If you have to pick one thing, I would say pizza is the way to go.
