Chefchaouen is quite famous and for good reason. It’s amazingly beautiful. It’s an old Médina with all blue walls, stemming from its history as a refuge for Jewish refugees. While I highly recommend going there, you should be warned that it is wildly touristy and filled with bus loads of often rude tourists. I saw people almost hit elderly locals with selfie sticks and people walking around completely taking over the surroundings. I felt terrible for the locals and though I walked around for hours, I’m REALLY glad I’m here during rainy December and not during the high tourist season.
