This castle which looms over the modern town was built in the 13th century by the Knights of Saint John in order to help them control this part of the island. There is no admission fee to enter the castle, which makes sense as it isn't super big. But it is definitely worth visiting. The entrance to the castle is quite picturesque as is the courtyard and remains of the wall. The condition of the castle is obviously not what it would have been in the time of the knights but the scenes going down to the sea are the same and very impressive.
