Sforza Castle is surely gorgeous and it is one of the representing landmarks of the city of Milan. This castle is centrally located iand it is not far from the Duomo. The castle was initially built in the 14th century. Over the history, this castle was used as a noble residence and a military fortress. The castle is named after Francesco Sforza who was the ruler of Milan in the 15th century. Today, the castle hosts many museums with collections of ancient arts, tapestries, ceramics, musical instruments, armory, furniture, etc. There is also an Egyptian museum. The good thing is that each room has a fact sheet you can take away which enabled me greatly to enjoy the museums.
