The Captain Timothy Hill House is the oldest house on Chincoteague Island and is fun for those of us history buffs. It has really been restored and preserved very well and is really unique because of its age and its still being in tact in the climate it is in. They have a strong focus on education and are really good at working with kids. The house is part of several tours of the island. Because it is run by just a couple of people, it is only open from 1-3 on Fridays. There is no admission fee but it is really worthy of your donation if you care about preserving history and supporting those who do so for the enjoyment and education of the rest of us.
