Cape Point is the point where the Atlantic and the Indian oceans mix. It can be confused with Cape Agulhas which is the southern most tip of the continent as well as the point where the two oceans meet. This mixture at Cape point though is an absolutely amazing phenomenon! There is a mixing of temperature causing a thermocline and the changing of the waters causes the ocean to be rough and can attract Great White sharks. There have been reports of White Sharks breaching out of the waves! This is also an an amazing experience because the cape is around fynbos which is an area where endemic plant species (plants that are only found in one location) which leads up to an extravagant cliff side view of the the South African Coastline!
