Cable Beach Bahamas

Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas

We stayed at an adults only all-inclusive resort called Breezes. It had a beautiful, sugar sand beach and a fun pool with a bar. The food was pretty good, dinner options being the best. Make sure to try some Conch Fritters, a local favorite! The resort is not 5 star by any means, but to me it was better than paying for something nicer (Atlantis) and being surrounded by a ton of kids. You can always get a day pass to Atlantis if you really want to see it.

Take a day to leave and explore the island. There is lots of hiking and site-seeing. Check out a restaurant called The Poop Deck-another local favorite. Amazing seafood that's caught the same day you eat it!

For the price we paid, everything was reasonable. Probably a 3.5 star resort (out of 5). Perks: adults only, good bar/drink choices, free rock climbing wall, trapeze, ping-pong, gym. Entertainment staff was great, we won tokens to get free gifts at the gift shop. The beach is beautiful and the pool was always clean. Specialty dinner restaurants have awesome food and every night there is a show/entertainment in the lobby plus a piano bar. There were some negatives though, the beach is not private so there are people trying to sell you stuff during the day. It does get annoying, but some of them leave you alone if you get them a drink from the The breakfast/lunch buffet is not the best, we ended up eating most our lunches at the pool burger place. I've definitely had worst though at cheaper places. Also, the beds aren't very comfortable, the rooms are a little outdated but the bathroom was nicely updated. We didn't spend much time in the room anyway.

Wait staff was great, food was very reasonable. Great place to try local beer and fresh caught sea food. Not to crowded, laid back vibe. Definitely recommend it!
