BridgeClimb Sydney

I will admit that I was a bit intimidated by this at first! The amount of stairs to climb wasn't something I was looking forward to. But it wasn't bad at all and I'm so happy that we did it! The worst part about it for me was the 40 minutes it took us all to get briefed and hooked up to all of the safety gear. Which, don't get me wrong, I'm glad we had but I was just ready to climb! There wasn't one difficult part of the day and our guide, Steph, was great! She was personable and very informative. It was also nice to have a chat with the other employees who were stationed at the base of the ladders. I never felt unsafe. I like that we stopped a few times for pictures. You do get the group picture at the end but I also think it would be nice if they would include just one more individual picture….the price is already a bit steep. Even if a 2nd individual picture was included we still would have bought the rest of them! We got 2 free passes to climb the pylon and we did that the next day because we wanted to be able to take our camera up there and get shots of the city. That was a nice added bonus to have. All in all, I suggest doing the climb! The views are outstanding and it gives you a totally different perspective of the city!

Pylon Lookout
After climbing the entire bridge we weren't sure that we wanted to do another 200 stairs! We waited until the next day and I'm glad that we did it! Great views and we were able to have our camera and take our time.
Sydney Harbour Bridge
A bit pricey but totally worth it! You won't be able to bring your own camera up there so be prepared to spend another $60 because you will want them all!
