We entertained a group of nine business associates over dinner at Bricco in Boston’s historic North End. We were given a corner table upstairs which was perfect for our size group. The wine list was superb and we went with the montepulciano as per our server’s suggestion. One thing I love about a larger group for dinner is the opportunity to share a variety of appetizers. We had grilled octopus, stuffed zucchini flowers, meatballs, and eggplant. All were delicious but the octopus was by far my favorite. I chose the baked halibut special and could not finish the large portion. My husband had the pappadelle al cinghalle (pasta, wild boar and mushrooms) and practically licked his plate clean.
