I have decided to post the rest of my month's quota of the stories with pictures of each of the national park or the other NPS units I have visited - and I have visited a lot of them. These beautiful pictures will remind us that for the last three weeks these are not accessible to people as it used to be earlier. Many of these places are not getting cleaned and some tourists are abusing the areas by filling up the parks with trash and human waste. This photo is from the Crater Lakes National Park we visited on July 2018. The deep blue lake is actually a caldera of an imploded volcano created some ~7500 years back. its an infant in terms of geologic age standpoint.
