Breathtaking Irish View - Cliffs of Moher

Liscannor, Clare, Ireland

If you're looking for a fun, memorable, and more importantly affordable vacation you must go to Ireland! We purchased our trip off of Groupon for $800 including RT flights and hotel rooms for 7 days and a rental car to travel at our own pace. I priced out flights on my own and you can get flights for $500 dollars. If there's one thing you have to see while you're in Ireland it's Ireland’s most visited natural attraction: the Cliffs of Moher! The Cliffs are 700 feet tall and stretch 5 miles along the Atlantic coast of County Clare. To get an even better view of the coastline, you are able to go inside O’Brien’s Tower.Upon arrival, we enter the museum onsite to learn more about the Cliffs and the history of the area. The exhibit was interactive and very informative...there was something for all ages there! After we made our way through the Cliffs Exhibition we ventured outside to visit the Cliffs. They were absolutely breathtaking! You could feel the mist of the crashing waves against the cliffside. While it was absolutely stunning, I will warn you that it was EXTREMELY windy. So windy that at times we were able to lean forward and the wind would stop us from falling! While you can see the beauty in these pictures,it does not do the Cliffs of Moher justice. It's a site you must see for yourself! Plus, the Irish are all very pleasant people which makes your travel experience even better :)

A recommended side trip from the Cliffs would be to spend a day in Galway - only 1.5 hours North! Beautiful quaint town where the original Claddagh ring was made
Bunratty Castle & Folk Park
The Bunratty Castle is nearby in Co. Clare Ireland. Worth the visit if you are making a day trip to the Cliffs of Mohr!
