The Limestone Coast region is located south of Adelaide and stretches down the coast from the Coorong National Park to the Victorian border. From there, many travelers link up with the Great Ocean Road.The region includes coastal fishing villages such as Robe and long stretches of beaches. Inland boasts the world-renowned Coonawarra wine region, the remarkable World Heritage-listed Naracoorte Caves, historic townships and authentic farm stays. There are several small harbors in the area from which you can rent a fishing boat for a day. The region is among others famous for its abundant lobster and the annual fishing festival.
