The Bouquet Reservoir is a massive damned body of water along the scenic Bouquet Highway on the drive from the Antelope Valley and Palmdale, California, down to Santa Clarita. It is completely secured and fenced in and and has never been open to the public for any type of recreation. I guess this may be because it is the primary water source for the aqueduct that serves the Santa Clarita Valley population down below - but that’s my guess. I was hoping for a pull off area to stop and have a good look, but they were nonexistent. However, you can clearly see the massive **bleep** in the distance and the beautiful blue reservoir with several small islands.
