Being the second most heavily populated city in North America from the North Pole (Edmonton would be first), growing a garden for 4-5 months, let alone year-round, is pretty much impossible-unless it's inside a mall! You can visit the Devonian Gardens on the top floor of the Core Shopping Center right in the heart of downtown all year long. It's a free attraction with huge palms, fountains, fish, tropical flowers and several places to relax and unwind. A good place to get some work done as well as there is free, strong wifi throughout. Many people were just chilling out on their laptops or phones. It definitely makes for a wonderful green retreat especially during those long cold winter months I'm sure! It's not very big so I'd plan to spend about 1/2 hour here max if just strolling through.
