Having been to Manhattan's Chinatown numerous times, I assumed this was the one and only to see when in New York. However, I was totally wrong. Flushing's Chinatown, located in the borough of Queens, is far, far superior! And less touristy!Flushing's Chinatown has the same type of restaurants, markets, and gift shops like they do in Manhattan, however the quality is much superior. Further, you don't have to deal with all the chaos on Canal Street where vendors are berating you and thousands of other tourist to buy fake watches and low end scarves. They have it to a small degree in Flushing, but it's really low key there.
