Jerome Arizona is a small town in Yavapai County supposedly the "best ghost town in America". Way to build up the hype people. It didn't seem like an abandoned town at all. Very tourist - probably given the time of year - but there were so many shops offering souvenirs, tours, food and all sorts of things that it felt super-commercialized. The drive from Prescott Valley was lovely though. Pine trees, red rocks, desert landscapes, through curvy roads with speed limits ranging from 15 to 55. I'm glad our rental car didn't have any breaking or acceleration issues. We'd have crazier stories to tell.

Beautiful picturesque mountain views, only a few possible places to stop at.
