During a 5-day Royal Caribbean Cruise with my mother and some friends, we stopped in Cozumel for a day. Because the excursions provided by the cruise line were overly priced and crowded, the four of us decided to book a short trip to a beach club. I went on google and found a beach club called Mr. Sanchos Beach Club. The Club had some pretty good reviews and great pictures, so we decided to give it a try.
For something like $80 (which was cheap compared to what the cruise was offering), we were able to step into an all-inclusive resort. The resort had free food, a swim-up bar, a buffet on the beach, a pool, a small play area on the beach that had large floats and rafts (ones that you can climb onto, etc.) changing rooms, bathrooms, free WiFi, lockers, etc. It truly was a small taste of paradise.
In addition to having the wonderful beach day, our time included a horseback ride on the beach. To tell you the truth, the ride was a little boring (mostly in thick jungle where you can't see the trees and you don't go faster than a walk/trot), but the end on the beach was very nice. They took our picture (which you of course had to pay for after), but the whole thing was very nice.
In addition to relaxing in the sun (there were hundreds of lounge chairs and tables for us to sit on), my friend and I decided to rent some jet skis (on property). It was decently expensive (I can't remember exactly how much, but I want to say it was something like $45 for a half hour or so), but I had always wanted to jetski on the ocean. It was well worth it. Jetskiing on a river or lake is NOTHING like the waves and air you can get in the ocean. Add to it the fact that the water is crystal blue, and I couldn't be happier.
I really suggest hitting up this club! It was a great time and decently priced compartively.
