Basilica di San Marco

30100 Venice, Metropolitan City of Venice, Italy
18 Kudos
If you go to Piazza San Marco, you will find the very beautiful and very popular Basilica di San Marco. It is impossible to miss, with it's out of this world architecture and the seemingly never-ending line of people there trying to get in. The entrance fee is only three euro per person if you want to make a reservation ahead of time. Otherwise, you can wait in line for a good chunk of time and get in for free. My recommendation is to pay. Outside, you do have some great views, but the inside is stunning. It's definitely worth the wait!
