Our journey in to Bach Ma started with coffee at the top in the Bach Ma ranger station. Now this wasn't a coffee shop, but our kind guide pulling out a thermos and some plastic cups....coffee fitting to be consumed atop a mountain. This building was initially used by the french as a retreat when they occupied the country. It is situated at the peak of the mountain. We got to go on a very drizzly and foggy day making it feel like we were discovering a long forgotten hideaway at the edge of the world. Along with the structure at the top are some cool horse statues and a giant bell.
