Route 66 is that famous ribbon of road that runs from through the southwest United States to the Pacific coast. It has mostly been replaced by the interstate highway, but much of it still exists and the businesses along it try to keep the tourist dollars flowing. Driving along it, you can see giant tepees, motels with "interesting" themes, and even scenes of hunting dinosaurs, such as in this instance. Not only must this be a thrill for kids, it provides an insight on the road trippers of generations past. Taking a road trip along it might be slower than taking an interstate, but worth it.
This section of road has all kinds of kitchy attractions.
