We stayed on the Amalfi Coast for a total of 5 nights, so we decided to take a day trip to Capri. We have never been there before but heard about it so many times. The island is the topic of so many songs and it is well known to host the rich and famous. Unless you fly (helicopter flights are expensive), you will arrive at the island's main port "Marina Grande" (see picture). From there you can do everything you desire. Boats are continuing to the famous "Blue Grotto", you can stay and eat at one of the many restaurants lining the harbor or do some shopping and finally you can take a funicular all the way up to see the town of Anacapri (highly recommended).
