We departed our AirBnb on a beautiful and sunny morning heading back southeast to Glencoe Village. With a full belly and daypack ready for the challenge, we saw our day laid out for us in glory on the rocky approaches to this iconic viewpoint of Glencoe, The "Pap of Glencoe". The pap is so called supposedly for it's conical shape has a visual similarity to a certain part of the female anatomy we were told, and I guess that's as good a name as any considering it's shape. It sits majestically looming over the small village of Glencoe where the River Coe enters Loch Leven. Happiness is a morning such as this, with healthy legs and the promise of a day filled with adventure and beauty. Just look at that mountain!
