We spent about 4 days in Zion National Park in November 2016. I would highly recommend visiting at this time of year. Clear blue skies and cool but not cold temperatures made perfect hiking weather. It was a little cold for us to want to do the well-known Narrows hike, but lots of people were doing it in waterproof gear. The Angel's Landing hike had stunning views and wasn't too strenuous. If you're afraid of heights it might not be for you, but we never felt like we weren't safe. The subway "bottom up" hike was more challenging and requires a permit, but it can be done without any special gear. Neoprene socks and water boots help. We can't wait to go back to Zion!
