Ancient Ruins of Ayutthaya!

Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, จ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา, Thailand
2 Kudos
After a couple of days in Bangkok, I hopped in a bus to check out Ayutthaya! Our tour guide was awesome and even provided us with a Thai snack (fried bananas) on our way to the city. Ayutthaya is a short bus ride from Bangkok, and it was just what I needed to take a break from the busy capital!

The Day trip included other attractions before the Ayutthaya ruins as well! The structures were nice and well preserved. Ayutthaya is a place filled with history dating back in the 1300s! You'll see many headless Buddha structures here as well.

This city was captured by the Burmese in 1569!

I enjoyed this tour and learning all of the history that went on here! Take lots of photos!
