Jakarta Cengkareng airport's newest terminal, Terminal 3, serves only international flights with the exception of the national carrier Garuda -- where both domestic and international flights leave and depart from this terminal. I had a business trip from Cengkareng to Pontianak flying with Garuda. Seems like Cengkareng T3 is inspired by Changi airport, Singapore. On the departure side, I saw a mini garden in the premises, plenty of international dining options and world class shops such as Coach. On the arrival side, the walls are decorated with interesting pictures. For example: there are pictures of weird monster plants drawn on top of fire extinguishers. Going between terminals 1, 2 and 3 has recently been made more convenient thanks to the fairly new skytrain.
A beautiful garden to sit by or stroll around in Terminal 3.
