The third of five stops on our Southern Caribbean cruise took us to Antigua. We did another bus tour that took us to Shirley Heights Lookout. This area had stunning views of the Caribbean and was used back in the day to protect the island from invasion. This might have been my favorite place on the seven day cruise. There are remnants of a fort on top of the lookout, and there is also a bar and restaurant up there that would be an amazing place to eat.
After Shirley Heights Lookout, we took the bus to Nelson's Dockyard at Falmouth Bay. This was a bustling little area, and we got to see how the locals live. One of the bars offered people on the tour a free rum punch, which was becoming something of a trend on this cruise.
