A trip to NASA

Cape Canaveral, FL, United States
3 Kudos
Like every child who grew up in the eighties and nineties, I was inspired by movies like ET and October Sky. I would often look up and wonder how the people who went into space felt. I was very fascinated with NASA and would follow their work closely. I recently had a chance to visit NASA at Cape Canaveral on my trip to Orlando. It was rather a very pleasant experience. There was a tour of NASA on a shuttle that goes around the facility and the guide showed us the launch pads and the centers where rockets were assembled. After the tour, we were taken into a facility that is converted into a museum where you can see the Apollo mission shuttle and also a new Space shuttle. I felt like I was a kid in a candy store, trying to take it all in and enjoy every bit of being in a place of my dream.
