The sky was dark and threatened rain, eventually making good on that promise. That didn't stop my girlfriends and me from exploring Greenville, South Carolina, along both sides of the mighty river, Reedy River, that coursed through the middle of town. Falls Park, located on the Reedy River in the Historic West End, was founded in 2004, made possible through a collaboration of several town organizations, including a garden club and Furman University. One of the most arresting sights is the graceful Liberty Bridge. Keep your eyes peeled for various works of public art as you stroll through the park on what is hopefully a sunny day!
