My girlfriend and I recently celebrated 6 years together and wanted to have a nice dinner out in Chicago. We could not get a reservation at a number of the top restaurants that are often featured on TV and in the food press. However, we stumbled upon Nia after going through reviews on Yelp. Nia is a very cute Mediterranean Tapas place.
We were seated and served by the owner, who worked very hard to make our experience a good one. We ordered the 8 course menu, trying a little bit of everything. We paired the food with the "premium" wine flight, which includes four 3 oz pours of various wines, which helped us discover a newfound interest in Greek wine.
All in all it was a relatively affordable and very tasty experience on restaurant row in Chicago.
