Was looking for something a bit out of the ordinary to do on a weekend. This place Mystery Castle in Arizona was exactly that. Hidden away this eclectic castle was built by an eccentric man in the 1930s for his beloved daughter . Each room holds its own strange wonders. In my past experience, guided tours can be a bit of a drag but this one far exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide maintained great composure throughout the hour or so tour, where people could join in or leave at any point. This made it flexible and didn't hold you to any strict schedule. I was able to take as many photos as I wanted and did not feel rushed or confined when exploring the grounds. I appreciated the well rounded information about the castle and the history of Phoenix. This is a great opportunity to see a living piece of the stranger side of Arizona history.
