This is one awesome looking reconstruction of an old mill house. This is part of the Gomez Mill House in Marborough New York. The structure in the photo is an old out building that was part of the mill and, over the years, served as a storage shed and believe it or not, the chicken coop. The farmhouse itself was originally constructed in 1714 and served as a local headquarters during the Revolutionary War. Lovingly restored, it now serves as a small museum. The house is nice, the grounds are nice, but the adorable structure, and bridge leading to it, is what really makes it. I feel as if Bilbo Baggins will open the door at any moment.
