Vermont is a unique and lovely place. Here is a quick and fun guide for what to get into and what seasons have to offer!

Spring and Summer In VT:
-In early Spring is the Magic Hat Mardi Gras festival! Everyone takes to the streets around downtown to drink and be merry in typical Mardi Gras Fashion. Normally the end of March, don't forget your beads!
-Make like a local and find the watering holes! There are dozens hidden around the Burlington and Stowe area. Some of the most beautiful are Warren Falls and Bristol Falls.
- Farmers Markets are the openers to Summer in VT and you would be remiss not to go! Usually happening on saturdays in most towns, you’ll find live music, sweet treats, and all your grocery and gardening needs directly from the source.
- Do the Stowe tours! Stowe has SO many tours in the summer its hard to keep track; Ben & Jerrys, Cabot Cheese, and many maple tours all give free access and tastes!
-Mountain Biking is THE Vermont sport in the summer. With hundreds of miles of trails, head out to the Kingdom Trails. OR try some of the more challenging trails at places like Cochrans.

Fall In Vermont:
-Head up to Stowe and Smugglers Notch for a stunning fall welcome from the trees. They shift color in mid-late October and there are few places that get the fiery beauty of Smugglers Notch.
-Burlington and surrounding areas have September and October brewfests that are certainly worth the time to check out!
-There are probably hundreds of Apple Orchards in Vermont and its a favorite local activity. Take some time to go apple picking at one of the orchards and get a honey-crisp for that crisp fall afternoon!

Winter in Vermont:
-Whether its Ice-fishing or Cross country skiing, bundle up and head out!
-If you prefer a lift for your activities you can check out the following:
Stowe Mountain Resort - Now owned by Vail resorts, your Epic pass will work here! Stowe is a great mountain for all levels.
Sugarbush - Arguably the best snow in the area
Smugglers Notch Resort - Only for the brave! The face of Madonna is one of the only double-black diamonds in the country.
Killington Resort - Killington is the largest ski area in the North-East and includes the largest vertical drop in NE. Frequently it’s called the “Beast of the East” for its narrow chutes and technical drops.
Mad River Glen - For those who enjoy an old-school approach. Mad River is skier owned and operated, with one of the oldest single char lifts in the US! Perfect for those that like to get away.
Jay Peak - When they get snow they get SNOW! But be prepared, the icy winds that whip through jay-peak are enough to cancel any day on the mountain due to the cold. There is also a water park so you can escape the cold!
-There are SO MANY annual winter festivals, generally involving alcohol, so be sure to check online for your destination.
