Edina, Minnesota has this great little shopping district at 50th Street and France Avenue. It has charming brick sidewalks, fountains and sculptures, and these really cool little arcades and alleyways lined with inviting shops. Edina rests just outside of Minneapolis (by a few blocks, really), but this shopping area reminds me of downtown Santa Barbara (different architecture, of course, but same beautiful shopping area vibes). We had lots of fun window-shopping and even going into a few stores to look around. There were lots of restaurant choices, too! We ate at a place a couple of blocks from the main shopping area, called Sota Rol, which was a nice little Asian fusion quick service place. I would definitely eat there again!
