In November, my husband and I visited Cabo San Lucas for the first time. Our daily ritual quickly became watching the beautiful sunset each day with a glass of wine in hand. We live in the midwest, so watching sunsets over the Pacific are a rare and exciting occasion for us. On our last morning, we decided to get up early and go down to the beach to watch the sunrise before we had to catch our shuttle to the airport. Boy was it worth it!! Rays were jumping in the surf as locals fished from the beach. We watched a school of dolphins swimming and jumping past, and were even lucky enough to see two whales surface close to shore. Next time, we will make watching sunrises a priority. The marine life is so active at that time of day, and the weather is cool and beautiful as the sun peeks over the horizon.
