Ireland was my favorite trip of 2017 because it’s natural beauty is boundless and the historical landmarks transport you through time. Although driving on the opposite side of the road is a bit terrifying, a sense of adventure makes any trip feel more invigorating. That and I still believe renting a car is the absolute best way to see all of Ireland's splendor. The country is small enough to travel by car in just a few days but full of variety so you can really make the trip your own. Cities – check, Landscapes – check, history – check, drinking – check, check. Not to mention, the people are INCREDIBLY friendly. I’d definitely recommend this trip over and over again.
