If you like oysters and fresh-out-of-the-ocean seafood, there are many great choices in Savannah. In town, The Grey is unique with amazing service, cool interior style, creative cocktails, and delicious vegetarian options as well as seafood and meat. A bit outside of town is The Wyld Dock Bar with killer views of a marsh and therefore rare wildlife watching while you snack on great chowder, crab cakes, and homemade ice cream sandwiches. Just remember to wear bug spray or long pants/sleeves or the bugs will get you at sunset. There are a number of great restaurants right on the water in town, though they tend to be more touristy. However, the food is still great, southern, and fresh. Try Vic's on the Water for some French Southern classics. FInally, to tickle your sweet tooth, you must stop by Chocolat by Adam Turoni for the most adorable and beautiful chocolates to eat while you stroll down the historic streets or to bring home as a reminder of your trip.
