Of all of the many Disney resorts I have stayed in over the years including many Disney Vacation Club luxury properties, I have to say the one that stands out the most is our stay in an incredible two bedroom villa overlooking the savanna in Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This amazing villa allows you to wake up in the morning and have your morning coffee and breakfast while watching safari animals roam the grass below your balcony. It is truly a magical way to start your day.The hotel also has spectacular pools, tasty restaurants, firepits with story telling, and even night vision goggles for viewing the animals at night. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend a stay at this resort hotel.
Bars and nightlife
A very nice bar overlooking the Boma restaurant off the Jambo House lobby.
Bus Stop - Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Continue the Animal themed experience just a short, free bus ride away at the Animal Kingdom Theme Park!
Safari So Good Arcade
Another arcade area at the hotel, look for fun elsewhere.
Pumbaa's Fun and Games Arcade
Just a regular arcade room for kids to play games. Better things to do at Disney.
The Animal Kingdom Lodge hosts both the Disney Vacation Club Villas and the regular hotel area.
Kidani is the secondary building with a smaller lobby and great pool area.
Jambo House is the main building at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Incredible lobby!
Quick service dining location with unique offerings. Try the zebra domes they are famous for.
Pool side dining and drinks in a beautiful setting but limited hours.
Upscale delicious African inspired food and drink. Beware, it is pricey.
Delicious buffet at a slightly high price. Try the goat cheese eggs at breakfast and the squash soup at dinner.
Indian inspired restaurant located in the Kidani building at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Another pool side bar with food service to grab a tropical beverage!
Shopping area in the lobby of Jambo House with some fun themed items.
Survival of the Fittest Health Club
Small gym area overlooking the pool in the Kidani Village area.
