I spent the weekend in San Fran with an old friend of mine. I flew in on Thursday night, and since she was working Friday, spent most of the day exploring myself. I ended up taking a free walking tour through Free Tours by Foot. It was an all day tour where I paid 7$ for the cable car ride up the massive hill to see a great view and the historic Grace Cathedral. After walking almost 10 miles (wow!) I met up to go visit Alcatraz. The night tour out was great and my friend said she liked it better than the day tour, not to mention the view of the sunset over the bridge! The next day we spent some time walking in the city and over the edge on the water including the pipe organ and cycling through Golden Gate Park. Sunday, we were tired and went over to Berkeley for a late N'Orleans lunch at Angeline's LA Kitchen and a stop at Arrogant Brewing Company. The trip was over too quickly but it was one for the books!

Beautiful area with lots of history. Take the cable car up to it and walk down (trust me on this!)

Very interesting and the listening tour was totally worth it. Night tour lets you see a sweet sunset!

Beautiful park for cycling, roller blading and just hanging out.
The Wave Organ
Interesting place with a nice view and breeze- though I couldn't here anything..?
Restaurants
Angeline's Louisiana Kitchen
Awesome food! Gumbo, po'boy, sweet tea- everything you need for a great N'orleans meal.
