….because you can never eat too much in Rome. We did “Roman Food Tour: The 10 Tastings” - a 3 hour walking tour in the heart of Rome city center with Yanira from Withlocals.com. We met at Campo dei Fiori and started with fresh, juicy fruit. Then walked to a Sicilian pasticceria Nonna Vincenza’s for cannolis. We then walked over to Birra e Sale for a mouth-watering meat and cheese plate, accompanied by pizza Bianca. We went to a traditional Roman sandwich shop Da Simo Pane e Vino and chose eggplant and tomato sandwiches. It was then time for the creamiest gelato in the world at CamBio Vita (they also have vegan ice cream). We walked to the famed Sant’Eustachio il Caffe for an afternoon espresso and finished the tour at Venchi Cioccolato for a small morsel of hazelnut chocolate (the best in the city). Our guide was so sweet and we had an awesome afternoon.

Culture and experiences
Piazza Campo de' Fiori
Open air market with every type of food you can imagine. We tried fruit and truffle spreads on crackers. Lots of flowers and other goods sold here.
Restaurants
pasticceria nonna vincenza
A traditional Sicilian pastry shop, sweet creamy cannoli. We went back the next day for croissants with nutella! Delicious!
Birra e Sale
Small sandwich shop/deli. All of the meats were fresh and the cheeses were deliciously matched with pizza bianca. Lots of different options here.
Da Simo Pane e Vino
Traditional Roman sandwich shop, lots of choices and everything looked and tasted good. We were also treated to a little music from a man playing the accordion.
CamBio Vita
The best gelato shop. This is seriously the best gelato in the city. It's extremely creamy. They also have vegan choices if you can't eat dairy. Don't miss!
Sant'Eustachio Il Caffè
Famous coffee shop near Sant'Eustachio church. Walk in to see pics of famous patrons on the walls (like Henry Kissinger). Cute little shop. Good espresso.
Venchi Cioccolato - Gelato
Charming chocolate shop, can purchase a little treat or big treat. Hazelnut is their original flavor. Delicious!

Ed4000 love withlocals. We did "Be a Roman for a day". Check out eatwith.com if you haven't seen it. We've done several dinners with locals, including Rome & they've been fantastic.
